MEET BELLA

I recently had a bride text me about choosing her bridesmaids dress colors and say, “Thank you so much! I don’t know why this has been such a hard decision for me, everything else has felt so easy!” That meant so much to me and truly confirmed that I’m doing my job well. Your event should be exciting, memorable, and stress-free.

& that’s where I come in :)

GROWING UP AND WORKING ON SOUTHERN TRACE FARMS, HOSPITALITY WAS ONE OF THE CORE VALUES I WAS RAISED ON. IT WAS IN THAT ENVIRONMENT THAT MY LOVE FOR EVENT PLANNING FIRST BEGAN TO TAKE ROOT. FROM A YOUNG AGE, I WATCHED COUNTLESS TIMELESS MEMORIES UNFOLD IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS, AND THROUGH THOSE MOMENTS I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF HELPING CREATE THOSE MEANINGFUL FEELINGS FOR PEOPLE.

The “Southern” in my brand represents the hospitality I was raised with.

My parents hosted countless private events, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, and family gatherings. My dad had a way of turning every visit into an experience, from homemade breakfasts like waffles and lemon-blueberry ricotta pancakes to evenings filled with homemade pasta and cocktails. Hospitality and creating meaningful moments were always at the heart of our home. Growing up in a family where events were frequent taught me that every occasion, big or small, deserves to be celebrated thoughtfully and intentionally. Southern Bella Events reflects my upbringing, heritage, and passion for creating meaningful, beautiful experiences for others.

I love events because I enjoy seeing the transformation: taking a space from nothing and turning it into something truly special. Weddings are especially meaningful to me, watching couples together, families reconnect, friends celebrate, and witnessing all the sweet, magical moments is something I never tire of. Of course, the dance floor is always a highlight too, I love bringing out sunglasses, scarves, and light-up sticks for a fun celebration. Weddings are also special because of their significance in God’s eyes. Marriage is a reflection of His love for the church, and it’s an honor to be part of such an important day in a couple’s life as they begin their journey together.

My biggest goal is to make each event not only look grand, but feel grand, leaving guests with a memorable and meaningful experience.

Guests at a formal outdoor event, some standing and chatting, others walking around, with tables, chairs, and string lights on a tiled patio near a hedge.
Outdoor wedding setup with rows of chairs, floral arrangements in baskets, palm trees, and string lights along a waterfront under a bright sun.

MY BACKGROUND

After growing up and working around events, I began working for EBJ & Company right out of high school, where I was actually the first person hired as the business began to grow. I later moved to Florida to earn my degree in Resort and Hospitality Management. While I was there, I continued gaining hands-on experience working with Cocoa Luna Events.

I always knew I wanted to start my own business, so after graduating, I launched SBE. With such a deep love for events, starting an event planning company felt like the perfect fit.
